Rectal diverticulosis is a rare condition. The presence of uncomplicated rectal diverticulosis is probably of little clinical significance. However, there can be associated complications such as inflammation and perforation, and potential
confusion
with
rectal carcinoma.
In this report we present patient history, diagnosis, and characters in such a case. Analysis of this case and review of literatures suggest this rectal diverticulosis might be due to ageing effect.
